November 15, 2023: To strengthen its grassroots presence and promote its mission and values, Independent Redress Mechanism, Green Climate Fund (IRM) in 2023 launched an advocacy grant for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), inviting them to collaborate with the IRM on communication and outreach efforts aimed at engaging key audiences. \r\n \r\n 1.2 Greening the Environment: The Nuts and Oil Crops Directorate & Nchiru Self-Help Group for Disability <\/a>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

\nJune 23, 2022 \u2013 July 23, 2023: As part of Chemichemi Foundation\u2019s goal to promote sustainable development and mainstream climate change, we collaborated with the Nuts and oil crops Directorate to support and provide the Nchiru Self-Help Group for Disability, Meru County, with 40kg (approximately 7,000) macadamia seedlings.

\r\n \r\n 1.3 Chemichemi Foundation TaaSafi Initiative <\/a>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
On December 31, 2021, Chemichemi Foundation supported the Nchiru Self Help Group for Persons with Disabilities and the East Kabras Women and Girls with Disabilities Grassroot Organization with solar lanterns to enhance the uptake of renewable energy within the members of the groups. The project was to promote the uptake of solar lighting.<\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

\r\n \r\n 1.4 Chemichemi Foundation & Nchiru Self-Help Group for Disability on Water Security <\/a>\r\n <\/div>\r\n
September 2021: Chemichemi Foundation collaborated with the Nchiru Self-Help Group for Disability to provide the group water resources. The overreaching goal was to realize our impact strategy on economic empowerment as well as eradicate water scarcity due to climatic variations.
